About Baffle

Baffle sells a no-code solution that masks, tokenizes, and encrypts data. Its financial services page presents Baffle Data Protection for banks, credit unions, Fintech providers, and insurance companies, to protect sensitive data and meet privacy and compliance regulations. Its healthcare page presents Baffle Data Protection for healthcare providers and payees. The home page describes auditable protection of unstructured and structured data throughout the GenAI pipeline.[3][4][5]

The healthcare page says the solution requires no code changes to databases, applications, analytics, or AI/ML pipelines. It limits data exposure through fine-grained role-based access control and anonymizes PII and PHI data. The product menu lists Data Protection for Analytics. It also lists Data Protection for Databases. A SaaS providers page says Baffle provides BYOK and record level encryption for multi-tenant SaaS. A lower environments page covers data masking for development and test databases.[1][2][3][5][6][7]

The home page quotes Paul Makkar, Director of Data at Saxo Bank. In the quote, he says Baffle enabled the bank to securely transform to a modern event-driven cloud data mesh.[5]

The healthcare page says customers can conform with the requirements of HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, NIST, and more. The solutions page says Baffle uses industry standard AES encryption to protect data at the field level, so that HIPAA, GDPR and HITRUST requirements can be met. The same page says customers can encrypt data before it leaves their premise and migrate to the cloud platform in encrypted form.[3][5][7][8]
