Who it fits
From its own pages, 7AI sells mainly to security operations teams that run many tools across endpoint, identity, cloud, email, network, and threat intelligence. 7AI says the platform is shaped to fit a customer's existing tools, workflows, and appetite for risk. Its pages say that enterprises sit at different points in their relationship with the SIEM, and the Federated SIEM service lets a team keep a SIEM, move logs into a security data lake, or run fully federated. Teams can run 7AI directly, have 7AI run security operations for them around the clock, or build their own offering on it. Partners can build services on the 7AI foundation. Not written yetNot written yetNot written yet

About 7AI

7AI sells an agentic security platform that runs the whole security operations lifecycle as one system: detect, investigate, respond, and hunt. 7AI says its agents do the non human work, with humans on the loop. Alerts arrive from across the customer's stack, however many tools the customer runs. 7AI categorizes, groups, triages, and reaches a determination on each one, escalating only what needs a person. 7AI ingests from tools across endpoint, identity, cloud, email, network, and threat intelligence.[3][4]

7AI investigates every alert to a conclusion rather than sampling. A 7AI investigation is the end to end work an AI agent swarm performs on a single alert. For each agent step, a reader can see the agent's mission, the tools it ran, the exact request and response, and the conclusion it drew. Every investigation includes a copilot grounded in that investigation's own evidence. 7AI can guide an analyst to a pre approved action or take orchestrated response automatically, with humans on the loop.[15]

After an investigation reaches a verdict, 7AI recommends and runs the specific actions needed to contain and remediate the threat. 7AI recommends the exact actions to contain a threat, runs them against the tools the customer already owns, and tracks every case from open to closed. The customer approves what executes. Response actions run through the tools the customer already owns across endpoint, identity, email, and cloud. Built-in workflows cover common actions like isolating a device, revoking sessions, resetting passwords, and quarantining files, and custom workflows extend to anything the team needs. Teams can compose response in a visual designer with no code required. 7AI builds response automation into the platform and connects to the tools the customer owns rather than replacing them.

7AI Federated SIEM connects security sources, including the SIEM and security data lake a customer already runs, and runs detection against them wherever they live. A customer can keep its SIEM and connect it as a source, move high-volume logs into a security data lake, or run fully federated. On sources 7AI collects, rules evaluate events as they arrive. On sources the customer keeps itself, rules run as scheduled queries against the data in place. Federated Search queries connected log sources and returns results normalized to OCSF. 7AI Federated SIEM is generally available. Federated SIEM is the data foundation on which the rest of the platform runs, feeding detection, investigation, response, and threat hunting.[5]

7AI connects every detection source the customer runs, maps coverage to the techniques attackers actually use, finds the rules drowning the team in false positives, and routes each detection to the right outcome. 7AI maps detections to the MITRE ATT&CK techniques attackers use and scores coverage tactic by tactic. 7AI connects to detection sources already run across identity, endpoint, cloud, email, and SIEM. 7AI watches how every rule performs and flags the ones generating false positives at scale. For threat hunting, a user describes a technique, behavior, or threat report in plain language, and 7AI builds the plan, investigates the environment, and returns a verdict in minutes. A threat intelligence feed can be connected to launch hunts automatically. 7AI saves each hunt with its plan, its findings, and its verdict so it can be re-run or shared.[1][4][8][9]

7AI continuously sweeps the customer's environment, scores posture against the frameworks the customer reports on, and ranks exactly what to fix next. 7AI scores posture with coverage mapped to ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 by control family. Skills let a customer's team define exactly how 7AI investigates, hunts, and responds, and a skill is written in plain language as a simple document. Enterprise Insights is the institutional knowledge 7AI draws on during every investigation, such as which domains are sanctioned and how the environment is wired. Skills shape how 7AI investigates, Workflows automate the actions it takes, and Insights give 7AI the context it needs about the environment.[7][16][17]

7AI describes several ways to engage. The customer's team can run 7AI directly, with dedicated AI Security Engineers who configure the agents to the environment. 7AI can run the customer's security operations around the clock as fully managed security operations. PLAID is the 7AI operating model: People-Led, AI-Driven, and PLAID ELITE adds fully managed security operations from 7AI's team, around the clock. With 7AI Build, customers and partners construct new harnesses, workflows, and entire services on the 7AI foundation.[3][18]

7AI says it builds a living model of each environment's context, and that dedicated AI Security Engineers seed that model at deployment while 9M+ investigations run since February 2025 compound it. 7AI also says that customers set the guardrails, define what agents act on versus escalate, and lead strategy. 7AI says a year in production at Fortune 500 scale has meant millions of investigations run and more than a million analyst hours handed back to security teams.[3][4][7][18]
