Our take: The Global CISO of Thoughtworks has posted about a milestone, and the visible text shows only that something went live a month ago, with no detail on what. A launch month is when a security leader's work gets tested in the open, because assumptions made before go-live meet real users and real traffic. We would treat that first month as a deliberate checkpoint rather than a quiet afterthought: review which pre-launch risk acceptances still hold, which alerts proved noisy or silent, and which owners turned out to be unclear. Security leaders who share early lessons publicly also give peers something rare, an honest read on what survives contact with production. We would encourage more of it, and add that the strongest post-launch reviews record what the programme chose not to do yet, so the next quarter's priorities rest on evidence instead of memory.
