Stephen Garcia was named Chief Information Security Officer at BreachRx, the incident-response readiness company, as announced the week of June 8, 2026.

An incident-response vendor's CISO is a product spokesperson by default — the company sells preparation for exactly the scenarios its security chief is hired to prevent. The same month, BreachRx added former Google Cloud CISO Phil Venables to its board, a notable concentration of security-leadership pedigree for a company of its size.
