The Seat is our interview series with the people who run security: what the job actually is, what the record of your move can't show, and what you would tell the next person to take a seat like yours. On the record, in writing, and you approve every word before it publishes. Interviews are never paid for and coverage is not for sale.

3. 03You answer in writingAround eight questions, tailored to your seat and your organization. No call to schedule; answer when it suits you.
4. 04You approve the final copyNothing publishes until you have read the finished piece and confirmed it in writing.
